Two dead, one critically injured in Lawrence shooting
Two people died and one person was critically injured in a shooting in Lawrence on Thursday, according to a post on X, formerly Twitter, by the Lawrence Police Department.
Officers responded to 1600 Haskell Ave. around 8 p.m., where they found two people dead at the scene and one injured, according to the post.
The injured person was taken to a hospital by helicopter, according to the post.
