KCKPD Major Case Unit investigating Tuesday shooting that left one dead

A man has died in Kansas City, Kansas, following a shooting in the city’s Kensington neighborhood, according to a press release from Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Cpt. O.B. Navarro.

Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of North 25th Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the press release.

There, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the press release. The man was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The KCKPD Major Case Unit is investigating the case, according to the press release.
