Kansas City police officer injured in crash

A Kansas City police officer was injured late Saturday when the driver of a stolen vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into a patrol car.

The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. at 39th and Washington streets.

The officer and the occupants of the stolen vehicle all received minor injuries, police said.
