Reward is offered to solve the drive-by shooting death of 3-year-old

A reward of up to $8,000 is being offered for information in the May 31 drive-by shooting death in Kansas City of 3-year-old Amorian S.L. Hale.

Amorian was killed when a drive-by shooter sprayed bullets into his home in the 6700 block of Walrond Avenue. The toddler was asleep in a first-floor bedroom. Three other children and the boy’s parents also were inside the home.

Since then, authorities have charged SirTerry L. Stevenson, 22, in the boy’s death. Investigators said Stevenson and others were involved in a series of retaliation shootings that led to Amorian’s death.

Police continue their investigation and said more arrests could come. So far, 40 anonymous tips have been received in the case.
