Confession during Missouri Highway Patrol job interview leads to child pornography sentence for man
A man who confessed to producing child pornography when he applied for a job with the Missouri Highway Patrol was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison.
Cedric Lovejoy, 29, of Plato, Mo., was taking a pre-employment polygraph examination with the highway patrol in 2012 when he confessed to having filmed a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old victim, federal prosecutors said.
Troopers discovered the video after searching Lovejoy’s home computer. Lovejoy pleaded guilty in December in U.S. District Court in Springfield.
