A reward of up to $7,500 is being offered for information to find who is responsible for the drive-by shooting that killed 10-year-old Machole J. Stewart in Kansas City, Kan.

Officials on Wednesday announced increases in the rewards being offered to find those responsible for the drive-by shooting deaths of two Kansas City, Kan., children.

Machole J. Stewart, 10, was killed last October inside her family’s home in the 1400 block of New Jersey Avenue.

And 7-month-old Ja’Quail Mansaw died in a January shooting in the 2700 block of North Early Street.

Officials with the Greater Kansas City TIPS Hotline and Kansas City, Kan., police said Wednesday that a reward of up to $7,500 now is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the killing of Machole.

The reward fund in the shooting death of Ja’Quail has been increased to $5,800.

Information in both cases can be given anonymously by calling the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
