Shooting reported at Olathe convenience store

Olathe police are investigating a pre-dawn shooting Wednesday that wounded a woman outside a convenience store.

The 35-year-old victim told police that she was involved in an altercation just before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday with several other people outside a 7-Eleven in the 200 block of North Parker St.

She was shot in the chest and was taken to a hospital by private vehicle. Police said Wednesday afternoon that her condition was stable.
