Kansas City police investigate shooting near Swope Park

Kansas City police investigated a shooting Tuesday after a man was found wounded in a vehicle near Swope Park.

The man was found in the 3600 block of E. 60th Street, west of Swope Parkway, shortly after 3 p.m., police said.

The man had suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
