Man still at large is charged in homicide near University of Kansas Hospital
Willie E. Parker was charged with murder Friday as police continued to search for him in connection with a Kansas City, Kan., homicide.
Parker is accused of killing 54-year-old Michel G. Ziade on Tuesday near the University of Kansas Hospital. Parker was last seen near the hospital in the 3900 block of Rainbow Boulevard.
Ziade, of Lee’s Summit, and his wife owned First Class Medical Transportation Inc., a company that provides non-emergency medical transportation.
Parker, 46, was an employee of the company. Kansas City, Kan., police have been searching for Parker as a person of interest in the case for days. He was still at large Friday when the Wyandotte County district attorney’s office charged him with murder.
Parker should be considered armed and dangerous, police said. He is black, about 6 feet 4 inches tall and 190 pounds.
