Police seek man for questioning in homicide near University of Kansas Hospital

Kansas City, Kan., police asked for help Wednesday locating a man they want to interview about a fatal shooting Tuesday near the University of Kansas Hospital.

Police want to talk to Willie E. Parker about the shooting that occurred just after noon Tuesday in the 3900 block of Rainbow Boulevard. Parker should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Police have not released the name of the victim, who has been described as the owner of a medical transportation company where Parker worked.

Parker, 46, is black, is about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Police ask anyone who sees Parker to contact the local police department or Kansas City, Kan., police at 913-596-3000.
