A Kansas City, Kan., man has been charged with secretly recording video of a female clerk at a department store in Overland Park.
Carlos Salas-Lopez, 43, was arrested Friday and has been charged with breach of privacy. He was accused of following the clerk and using his phone to record video of her, allegedly lowing the device below the hemline of her skirt.
Security officers at the JC Penney store at Oak Park Mall told police that they had been monitoring the man with closed circuit cameras. Officers confronted the man and confiscated the phone.
Police said the victim was a minor and was unaware of what had happened.
