KCK police seek person who dumped nails in department parking lot

This is one criminal that Kansas City, Kan., police really would like to nail.

They are asking for the public’s help finding the person who drove a Volkswagen Beetle into the parking lot outside police headquarters and scattered roofing nails on the ground late at night on July 10 in the 700 block of North Seventh Street.

On Monday, police released video surveillance photos of the gray car, which is believed to be a 2012 to 2015 model.
