Officials search for driver who fled scene after hitting and killing pedestrian in Raytown

Officials are searching for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian and fled the scene early Thursday in Raytown.

Kyle Clary, 36, of Grandview was in the roadway around 12:25 a.m. near Gregory and Blue Ridge boulevards when a vehicle hit him, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled the scene traveling south. Officials do not have a description of the driver or the vehicle.
