Two men injured when stabbed during fight at Overland Park sports bar
Police have arrested one man and were looking for a second after they allegedly stabbed two others during a fight Friday morning at an Overland Park sports bar.
The fight initially started as a disturbance between three men outside the Mac’s Sports Bar at 9617 W. 87th Street in Overland Park around closing time 2 a.m. Friday.
The disturbance escalated and the suspects allegedly stabbed one of the victims several times. The victim sustained critical injuries, but he is expected to survive. The other stabbing victim tried to break up the fight. He sustained minor injuries. He was treated and released from a hospital, according to police.
Police said one of the suspects is being held awaiting charges. They were looking for the second suspect. They said they know who the suspect is.
