Man seriously injured when stabbed during disturbance in Olathe

Police have taken a 29-year-old man into custody after he allegedly stabbed another man during a disturbance Friday morning in Olathe.

Police found the stabbing victim while responding to a report of a disturbance between two men about 4:15 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Sunset Drive. Emergency crews rushed the stabbing victim, a 20-year-old man, to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police continue to investigate the stabbing and asked anyone with information about the aggravated battery to call Olathe police at 913-971-6950 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
