One dead in Raytown shooting Thursday night, police search for suspect
One man was shot and killed Thursday in Raytown, according to police.
Officers were dispatched around 7:15 p.m. to 86th Street and Stark Avenue after multiple 911 calls came in reporting gunfire and one person shot, the department said in a news release.
Responding officers located one man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said no one was in custody Thursday night as detectives continued to investigate the homicide. Further information was not immediately available from police.
Raytown police were asking anyone with information about the fatal shooting to contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
