An Overland Park man was sentenced by a judge Friday to 103 years in prison for the rape and sodomy of two victims last year, according to Johnson County prosecutors.

Jason Landreth, 45, was sentenced to 1,236 months in prison for one count of rape and one count of aggravated criminal sodomy. He pleaded guilty to both charges in October.

Court documents indicate the crimes took place on or around May 2, 2022.

Initially, Landreth was charged with eight felonies — four counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, one count of aggravated burglary, and one count of rape — according to documents filed in Johnson County Circuit Court.

Landreth’s additional charges were dismissed by prosecutors as part of the plea agreement.
