Lenexa mower accident victim identified

A man killed in a Lenexa traffic crash involving a standing lawn mower was identified Monday as an 18-year-old Olathe resident.

Police said that Wyatt Punzo died when a car struck the mower he was operating about 11 a.m. Saturday.

The crash occurred on Prairie Star Parkway near Ridgeview Road. Police said that Punzo was traveling against traffic on Prairie Star when the wreck occurred. The investigation is continuing, but police said they did not expect that charges will be filed.
