Two people found fatally shot in Lawrence cemetery Wednesday morning, police say
Two people were found fatally shot Wednesday at a cemetery in Lawrence, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:45 a.m. to the Oak Hill Cemetery, where they found a man and woman who had been shot, the Lawrence Police Department said.
Investigators are collecting evidence from the scene, and the department is working to notify family members.
Police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
