Woman robs Blue Springs bank
Authorities are looking for a woman who robbed a Blue Springs bank Wednesday afternoon.
She entered the Blue Ridge Bank and Trust at 621 N.W. Duncan Road about 2:10 p.m.
The robber gave the teller a note and demanded cash. Although the woman said she had a weapon, she didn’t display one. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, she fled on foot, heading west from the bank.
Authorities described the robber as a petite white woman, standing 5 foot 4 inches tall. She was wearing blue jeans, a blue-hooded sweatshirt and white-framed sunglasses and carrying a dark-colored purse.
