Three injured in shooting Sunday in Peculiar, Cass County officials say
Three people were injured in a shooting early Sunday in Peculiar, officials said.
At about 12:43 a.m. Sunday, law enforcement officers were called to a shooting in the 7600 block of East 233rd Street in Peculiar, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
At the scene, which is in rural Peculiar, authorities found three people who had been shot. All three victims were hospitalized, the sheriff’s office said.
One person was taken into custody at the scene and is being held at the Cass County Jail, officials said. An investigation is ongoing.
