13-year-old runaway from Olathe missing for several hours has been found safe
A 13-year-old who was missing for several hours overnight has been found and is safe, Olathe Police said Sunday.
Olathe police had asked for help finding Brian K. Showers Jr. who was last seen around 9 p.m. on Saturday, the Olathe Police Department said in an email just after 2 a.m.
He was considered an endangered runaway due to his age and prescribed medication he takes, according to police.
Police reported shortly before 9:20 a.m. Sunday that Showers had been found and was safe.
