Man critically injured in fall at UMKC campus
A man was critically injured Wednesday in a fall from a parking garage on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus.
Kansas City police said they were called about 11:20 a.m. to the four-story structure between 53rd and 52nd streets and Rockhill Road and Charlotte Street.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a message sent to students, staff and faculty, the university said that there was no threat to public safety in connection with the incident.
