Homicide suspected in death of man found on Kansas City sidewalk

Police were investigating as a homicide the death of a man whose body was found on a Kansas City sidewalk about 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East 76th Street, near The Paseo.

Police responded to the area on an ambulance call. Kansas City Fire Department personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene.
