Shooting in Independence leaves one person with life-threatening injuries
One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Thursday in Independence.
Officers with the Independence Police Department responded shortly before 3:40 p.m. to the intersection of South Avenue and Osage Street.
One person was located and transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, the police department posted on social media.
