Sex charge filed against Lee’s Summit woman

A 25-year-old Lee’s Summit woman has been accused of sexually molesting a young child.

Jackson County prosecutors on Wednesday charged Holly Renee Brock with statutory sodomy for incidents that allegedly occurred when the girl was 2 or 3 years old.

According to court documents, the girl, who is now 5, told someone about the alleged abuse last year. In subsequent interviews, she said it happened on a number of occasions over about a one-year period.
