Westport Road pizzeria robbed
Two masked men robbed a Westport Road pizza restaurant after it closed early Tuesday morning.
According to Kansas City police, employees of Sarpino’s Pizzeria at 905 Westport Road were were counting receipts and doing paperwork about 3 a.m. Tuesday when the suspects walked in the unlocked front door.
One suspect was armed with a handgun. After robbing the employees of cash, the suspects left in an unknown direction. No one was hurt.
