KC boy killed in crash with postal truck identified
Kansas City police on Tuesday identified the 13-year-old boy killed in a traffic crash with a U.S. Postal Service truck as Kente M. Summers.
Kente, of Kansas City, was a passenger in a car that collided with the tractor-trailer Saturday morning at 18th Street and Benton Boulevard.
The driver of the car and three other child passengers were seriously hurt, according to Kansas City police. The truck driver was not injured.
The intersection has stop signs for traffic going in all four directions. Kansas City police are investigating.
