KCK police identify man shot to death Monday on Third Street

Kansas City, Kan., police on Tuesday identified a man shot to death Monday afternoon as Lonnie V. Mitchell, 21, of Kansas City, Kan.

Police responding about 2:10 p.m. to a reports of shots fired found Mitchell dead in the street in the 1900 block of North Third Street.

Police encourage anyone with information about the shooting to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
