Twin 17-year-old brothers are accused in Raytown rape
Twin 17-year-old brothers from Raytown were charged Friday with raping an 18-year-old woman.
Jackson County prosecutors accuse Matthew J. Hill and Mark C. Hill of assaulting the woman Tuesday at her apartment in the 9200 block of East 54th Terrace in Raytown.
She initially told Raytown police that the brothers and two other men forced their way into the apartment, but she later said she had invited them in to smoke marijuana.
But once inside, they dragged her by her hair into a bedroom and took turns assaulting her, she told police. She said the Hills and one of the other men raped her, but she wasn’t sure if the fourth man did, according to court documents.
Police said in the court documents that an audio-equipped surveillance camera captured images of the four men and snippets of conversation. One man is heard saying, “I hit her with my bare hands” and “She said stop.”
Another is heard saying, “Matthew tried to rape her again.”
When questioned by police, both Matthew and Mark Hill said the sex was consensual, according to court documents.
