Convertible occupants fire paintball pellets at people at KC bus stop
Two people waiting at a Kansas City bus stop were slightly injured by paintball pellets fired from a passing vehicle early Thursday, police said.
The victims said they were waiting for a bus just after midnight at 51st Street and Cleveland Avenue when a gold convertible Chrysler Sebring pulled up with several males inside. The vehicle’s top was down.
As the vehicle rolled past, the occupants started shooting with paintball guns. Both victims were struck near their ankles. The convertible sped east on 51st Street.
Both victims refused medical treatment. Police are investigating the incident.
