KC man accused in third area armed robbery
A 26-year-old man already facing armed robbery charges in Kansas City and Grandview has been charged with holding up a store in Westwood.
Terry U. Birmingham was booked into the Johnson County Jail Tuesday night on a charge of aggravated robbery. He is accused in the Jan. 4 robbery of the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 47th Street and Mission Road.
Birmingham, of Kansas City, previously was charged in Jackson County with a Dec. 30 robbery in Grandview and one Jan. 13 in Kansas City.
A few hours after the Jan. 13 robbery, Birmingham was found suffering from a gunshot wound outside his home near 77th Street and Paseo.
