Alan Noltensmeyer, 46, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of possessing child pornography, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister.

Noltensmeyer’s crimes were discovered as the FBI was investigating how people were using a software that allowed them to anonymously obtain and trade child pornography, according to the release.
