Police look for person who fired several shots into an Olathe apartment

Police were looking for a male suspect who allegedly fired shots into an apartment late Sunday at the Ramsgate Apartments in Olathe.

Officers responded about 10:45 p.m. Sunday to the apartments in the 12900 block of South Ramsgate Drive, according to Olathe police.

Witnesses told police that a male suspect, who was wearing a dark top, possibly with a hood, and dark pants fired multiple shots into the apartment. The suspect, who is believed to be known to the residents of the apartment, left on foot to the west.

No one was injured when the shots were fired into the apartment.
