One dead, two injured in triple shooting in Kansas City Saturday morning

One person is dead and two are hospitalized after a triple shooting in the 2300 block of Van Brunt Boulevard in Kansas City Saturday morning.

Police were called to the scene around 7:15 Saturday morning.

Officers located an adult male outside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died. Two other victims, an adult male and a juvenile male, were located inside the residence and transported to the hospital.

The adult was listed in critical condition Saturday morning. The juvenile was listed in stable condition, police said.

Detectives are processing the scene and looking at video footage; suspect information was not immediately available. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide unit at 816-234-5043.
