Kansas City police investigate man found dead on train tracks in northeast KC

A man was found dead on train tracks in northeast Kansas City Saturday night, police said.

Officers responded to the intersection of North Montgall Avenue and Guinotte Avenue just after 9:45 p.m to a reported dead body, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

Railroad personnel saw the man on the tracks and called police.

Detectives were processing the scene.
