Searchable map shows over 1,000 crimes reported the third week of March in Kansas City

More than 1,000 crimes were reported in Kansas City the third week of March, according to a Kansas City Star crime map created with city data.

Among them were 137 non-aggravated domestic violence assaults, 31 aggravated domestic violence assaults and 33 harassment/intimidation domestic violence.

There were also 94 incidents of property damage, 72 shoplifting cases and 48 incidents of thefts from automobiles included in the 1,047 crimes reported in that time frame.
