KC police investigate burglary near Loose Park, ask for help identifying suspect

Kansas City police on Tuesday were asking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of breaking into a home near Loose Park and taking thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry and other items.

The burglary allegedly occurred around 11:15 a.m. Feb. 27.

Police obtained surveillance video and shared a 30-second clip of a person walking up to the home, ringing the doorbell and looking inside.

Anyone with information on this person’s identity is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477 or call the police department’s Metro Property Crimes Section at 816-581-0679.
