KCK police find gunshot victim in his vehicle

Kansas City, Kan. Police are investigating an early-morning shooting after finding a man who had been shot sitting in his vehicle.

Police found the vehicle in the intersection of Interstate 35 and Southwest Boulevard about 2:35 a.m. Saturday. A man in his 30s was in the vehicle and had life-threatening wounds. He was transported to an area hospital. His identity was not released by police Saturday.

The Kansas City, Kan. Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the shooting. They ask that anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
