Three shot following argument at Kansas City house party, police say

Three persons were wounded during a shooting early Sunday during a house party in East Kansas City.

Officers responded to the 3000 block of College Avenue just before 3 a.m. on a reported shooting call.

Arriving officers were told that an argument with a woman had broken out. A man pulled out a gun as he was escorted out of the residence, according to police.

A short time later, someone fired into the house, wounding the three persons.

The victims were treated at a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said.

No suspects were in custody. Police did not release a description of the shooter.

Anyone with information should call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
