Man attacked with machete during dispute in KCK goes to police

A man reported to police Tuesday night that someone swung a machete at him during a dispute, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.

The victim reported the incident about 11 p.m. at a police station and told officers about having a dispute with the suspect, according to an account the police department posted on Twitter.

During the dispute, the suspect allegedly swung a machete at the victim. The suspect instead hit a door, damaging it. The victim was not injured.

Police tried to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful. No arrest had been made as of Wednesday morning.
