Shooting leaves 1 person in critical condition Tuesday afternoon, KC police say
One person has life-threatening injuries after a shooting was reported Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, according to police.
Kansas City police were called to investigate the shooting just before 4:45 p.m. in the area of East 23rd Street and Indiana Avenue.
Arriving officers located a victim, who was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in critical condition.
No arrests have been announced.
The investigation was ongoing Tuesday evening.
