KCK police find truck involved in teen’s homicide
Kansas City, Kan., police said Wednesday they have recovered a pickup truck sought in connection with the killing of a 16-year-old girl.
Police said the truck was found unoccupied late Tuesday night and is now being examined for possible evidence.
Jamie Hernandez-Zubia was found shot to death early May 30 in the 2500 block of Ridge Avenue. Witnesses told police that she had been a passenger in a vehicle whose occupants may have exchanged gunshots with occupants of a second vehicle.
