Shooting in northeastern Kansas City neighborhood leaves one injured: police

Kansas City police are investigating a reported shooting in a northeastern Kansas City neighborhood.

The shooting was reported early Monday afternoon near St. John and Topping avenues.

Police said initial reports indicated a person had been shot in the arm and suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
