Police investigate suspicious death in Rosedale neighborhood of KCK

Police are investigating a suspicious death in the Rosedale neighborhood of Kansas City, Kan.

Kansas City, Kan., police were investigating the death Thursday afternoon in the 2300 block of West 39th Avenue.

Police Chief Terry Zeigler posted a message on Twitter about the investigation shortly before 1:30 p.m.

A Kansas City, Kan., Police Department crime scene investigation van was parked in the drive outside the Rosedale Tower apartments at 2314 W. 39th Avenue. The Kansas City, Kan., Housing Authority manages the building, which has 122 units, for elderly residents, according to the agency’s website.
