Suspected shoplifters drove over a Prairie Village police officer’s foot Friday while making their getaway.
The undercover officer received a minor injury.
Officers were conducting surveillance at the Macy’s store at 4000 W. 71st St. shortly after 8 p.m. when they observed four suspects leaving the store with several pieces of clothing they had not paid for.
Two juveniles were arrested but two other suspects left in a gray, older model Pontiac. As they were leaving, the vehicle ran over one officer’s foot, police said.
