KC police investigate after man found with gunshot wounds on Garfield Avenue
A man died Tuesday night after he was found with gunshot wounds outside a home, Kansas City police said in a news release.
Police were called to the 4400 block of Garfield Avenue around 6 p.m. to investigate the sound of shots fired in the area.
At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot, police said.
He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
No suspect information was available Tuesday night.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Police were investigating the death as a homicide.
