Police investigating homicide on York Street

A man found was dead in the 3000 block of York Street by Kansas City Police Saturday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m. officers found an unresponsive man who was later declared dead at the scene, according to a KCPD statement.
Officials said the case is under investigation as a homicide.
