Raytown shooting leaves man in critical condition

Raytown police were investigating a shooting Wednesday that left a man in critical condition.
Officers were called at about 3:25 p.m. to an apartment building in the 9800 block of East 61st Street on a report of a shooting. They found a man in a common hallway on the second floor, suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to an area hospital and was initially conscious but was listed in critical condition.
