Motorcyclist dies in Kansas City crash

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night in a southeast Kansas City traffic wreck.

The two-vehicle crash occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday at Gregory Boulevard and Manchester Avenue, according to Kansas City police.

The victim was eastbound on Gregory when the driver of a westbound Toyota passenger car made a left-hand turn. The motorcycle struck the car’s right rear side. The victim died at the scene, police said.

The car’s driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
